Dr. Stephen Stang graduated in 1983 from Purdue University after receiving his Bachelor of Science Suma Cum Laude from Virginia Tech.
He then came to Loudoun Veterinary Service, Inc as an extern in early 1983 and has remained on staff since. Dr. Stang feels strongly that a good client/patient relationship should be developed and maintained through communication, teaching, and continuity.
His professional interests include orthopedics, surgery, preventative healthcare, and a very keen interest in canine reproduction with artificial and surgical inseminations. He also has a special interest in conformation and performs hundreds of OFA screenings annually. He has competed successfully on the dog show circuit with his labrador retrievers and pugs.
His spare time is spent with his beautiful wife and three children and an assortment of dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. He relaxes by gardening, going to the beach, and fishing, in particular, trout fishing.
